The experience of moving through the New Zealand Justice system can be extremely challenging for the person who is already experiencing the trauma of unintentionally causing the death of another person. The process can require re-living of the trauma over and over. For some it can help the healing process and for others it can do the opposite. If you can, reach out for support from others who understand.
